1996
MO5.COM’s first pixels
The website devoted to computers and digital culture becomes a gathering place for an enthusiast community.
2003
The association takes shape
MO5.COM is founded to preserve and share digital and video game heritage.
2010
MuséoGames at the Musée des Arts et Métiers
MO5 lends objects and playable machines for MuséoGames, its first major exhibition at a national museum.
2011
Game Story at the Grand Palais
Created with RMN–Grand Palais and the Guimet Museum, the exhibition invites the public to explore video game history.
2013
Game Story travels to Québec
The exhibition is adapted by the Musée de la civilisation as A History of Video Games.
2021
The campaign to save the Micral N
481 contributors raise €21,676 to acquire, study and restore a Micral N, a pioneering microcomputer.
2025
The demoscene recognised as heritage
The initiative involving MO5 leads to the French demoscene being listed in the National Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
2025
The Video Game Museum opens
On 13 December, MO5 opens a museum in Arcueil dedicated to computer and video game history, with a collection of more than 70,000 items.
